WWE DVDs That Should Be Released: Kurt Angle

Intensity, Integrity, and Intelligence: The Kurt Angle Story

kurt-angle

The third on my list of DVDs that should be released by WWE is a documentary of the only Olympic gold medalist in professional wrestling, Kurt Angle. Since his first match in 1999, Kurt Angle has proved that he is the best pure athlete that has ever stepped into a 20×20 ring. He earned the moniker, the most celebrated athlete in WW(F/E) history by having classic feuds with the Rock, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar, Shawn Michaels, and the Undertaker, just to name a few. He is a 6 time World Champion, United States Champion, Intercontinental Champion, European Champion and Tag Team Champion, and there’s no doubt he’s a future Hall of Famer. IT’S TRUE, IT’S TRUE.

The DVD would document Angle’s near 7 year career in WW(F/E), from his debut match at Survivor Series 1999 with Shawn Stasiak to feuding with the “The Phenom” The Undertaker towards the end of his career with WWE in 2006.

*Due to the tragic events tat occurred in 2007, there are no Chris Benoit matches listed. It is unfortunate that I had to leave out some classic matches from this match list.

*Note: Not all videos are great quality or full matches. If you would like to see these matches in full (or in better quality), I would suggest watching them on the WWE Network (for only $9.99)

Top 5 Daniel Bryan matches I want to see in WWE

daniel-bryan-wwe-world-heavyweight-championship-stripped

On the May 11th edition of Monday Night Raw, Daniel Bryan made his way down the entrance ramp, with the Intercontinental Championship in his hand while wearing a button down plaid shirt and jeans. At this time Bryan stood in the middle of the ring with a microphone in hand, as 10,000 fans chanted “YES!” and relinquished the Intercontinental Championship. This felt like deja vu to WWE fans, as Daniel had to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship almost a year prior to this night. Despite the uncertainty in his career, wrestling fans we are still waiting for the day Bryan returns to a wrestling ring, wither it be for WWE or on the independent scene.

Even with having a 6 year career with WWE, there’s still matches that fans would like to see Daniel have, wither it has happened before or wither it’s a first time ever dream match. Here are my five picks for matches I would like to see Daniel Bryan have in a WWE ring.

WWE DVDs That Should Be Released: Christian

The Peep Show: The Story of Christian

Christian-WWE-Return

The second on my list of DVDs that should be released by the WWE is a Christian documentary. Since his arrival in the WWE (then WWF) in 1998, he has had great matches as both a tag team specialist and as a singles competitor. He’s put on classic matches along aside his tag team partner Edge, feuding with the likes of the Dudley Boyz and the Hardy Boyz. These matches put him in the spotlight in which he later shined as a singles wrestler in matches against his former tag team partner Edge, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, and Alberto Del Rio just to name a few. His accomplishments include winning the World Heavyweight Championship and ECW Championship each twice, held the Intercontinental Championship four times, and winning the Tag Team Championships nine times (he’s tied with Kane for the individual with the third most tag team title reigns, behind Billy Gunn with 10 and Edge with 12). He’s also won the European, Hardcore, and Light Heavyweight Championships each respectively once.

The DVD would document Christian’s near 20 year career as a wrestler (15 years with the WWF/E), from his debut match beating Taka Michinoku for the Light Heavyweight Championship, to his final match on the March 24, 2014 episode of Raw. Here are the matches I would include in this DVD set:

WWE DVDs That Should Be Released: Shane McMahon

For the next few weeks I will be posting my picks for the top 5 WWE DVDs that should released. Not only will I pick a Superstar or category, but I will be posting the match list that I would be on the DVD.

Here Comes the Money: The Best of Shane McMahon

shane-mcmahon.png

First on my list is a match compilation of Shane McMahon’s greatest matches. For a decade, Shane has bought memorable moments to the WWE audience (I’m not using the word Universe). From falling 40 feet off the stage set after getting hit with the kendo stick by Steve Blackman, to dropping a 50 foot elbow onto Big Show. Not only did he provide a number of OMG moments, but he’s had some great matches in his 10 year career. Given that Shane McMahon was never really considered “a wrestler,” he’s put on amazing performances against the likes of Kurt Angle, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Kane, Randy Orton, and many others. Here are the matches I would put on a match compilation for a Shane O’Mac DVD:

Top 10 Miz Matches

the-miz-10-1792996-2013923

When the Miz came into the WWE locker room in 2004, everyone had their doubts of the former Real World star. It’s been a long, hard fought journey from reality TV star to sports entertainer. Miz eventually made his way up the ladder of WWE, and he even main evented WrestleMania (which he will remind you of every second he gets). If you love him or you hate him, you can’t deny that the Miz is a talent. His charisma and mic skills are off the charts, but one thing he’s not really known for is being a good wrestler. In my opinion, the Miz is very underrated when it comes to his in ring work. Here are ten of the Miz’s best matches.
